Bring the same questions to every provider.

  • Can this account support your business type and the places where you operate?
  • How will you deposit cash or checks, pay suppliers and move a large payment?
  • Which transfers are standard, which are expedited and what does each cost?
  • Who holds the money, and what protection applies to that particular account?
  • Can another person have access without sharing your password?
  • Can you export transactions and get help when a payment is delayed?

For cross-border payments, compare the same sending amount, destination currency and payment method at the same time. A small stated fee does not tell you the whole cost if the exchange rate or receiving charge differs.

Check a current Wise quote — opens in a new tab and compare it with alternatives that support your destination. Keep a copy of the quote’s fee, rate, delivery estimate and recipient amount.
